Learn Jiu-Jitsu as it applies to both self-defense and modern Jiu-Jitsu. Establish a solid defense while learning submissions and escapes from every position. Control and submit an opponent through the use of movement, leverage and connection. Classes consist of a warm up, one-on-one technical instruction, drilling, specific training and live sparring.
BEGINNER | Students with no previous Jiu-Jitsu or grappling experience are asked to watch, and not participate in live sparring. We believe in teaching students fundamentals prior to rigorous training. The professor will advise when a student is ready to participate.
